Small rooms, not 4 star level

The only thing missing was railing on stairs. It was dangerous as floors are ceramic tiles and extremely slippery. There were a lot of elderly tourists in the hotel and not all used lifts. I wanted to mention it and feel it is important that railing be installed. There is an accident lurking to happen.

Everything at Hotel Del Levante is geared to make your stay unforgettable. The view is breathtaking. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The animation team are very thoughtful, kind and considerate. They are fun to be with and work so hard to make everyone welcome and included - from small children to 80/90 year old grand-parents.
The food is amazing and the snack bar is simply perfect.

Okay at best
Posted 16 Apr 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is right on the beach. Not the nicest beach but not the worst. The pool was nice but it was too cold to swim. The room was extremely hot and couldn’t get the A/C to work. After talking to the staff I was told that the A/C wasn’t working and that the only thing that could be done was turn off the heater. Which I’m not sure why was on in the first place. Had to open the window to cool down the room but no breeze came in through the window so I had to fan in the cool air for a while to bring down the temperature in the room.

too many Coach day trippers

Pros: The pool/beach area was good and well staffed.
Cons: BREAKFAST and less day trippers
Location: Location is good for sightseeing Puglia.
Had to change room three times because of air-vent noise. Then was told we had to move out the day before our final day due to over booking. Eventually I complained and we stayed till our final date.

Overbooked!
Posted 14 Sep 2017The Levante double booked the room and therefore were not able to honour the booking for which we had already paid!
Alternative accomodation was offered in a sister hotel 15 minutes drive away inland (the only purpose in booking this hotel was because it is next door to the hotel where my parents were staying and because it is by the sea).
In the end, after demanding to speak to the manager, we were offered a better solution in a hotel nearer to this one, even though the receptionist had previously told us there was no availability.
The explanation of how overbooking was possible was very unclear so I can only assume it is their policy to overbook.

Great hotel good food, beach and staff
Posted 6 Sep 2016Great relaxing hotel good Italian food staff very friendly/helpful.
Private beach free sun beds put up for you by beach staff.
Evening entertainment very European with action type songs and dancing, but also plenty of comfortable outdoor seating.
Good car park with guard.
