Beach Hotels in Falmouth Harbour, Saint Paul

"If you are looking for a place to completely to get away from it all with a laid-back vibe, this would be the place. The rooms and property are just what was expected. We stayed in the rooms on the Royal Beach. You can swim there, but beware it is a rocky beach. Sugar Grapes beach was best for swimming. The food was good, and the drinks were the best we've experienced at any other all-inclusive. Besides the beautiful scenery, food, drinks and accommodations, the staff were what really made this place stand out from other places we have visited. Just to name a few that stood out Odette, Serena, Dalston, David, Brad, and Chris, there are many more that we didn't get their names unfortunately but sincerely enjoyed meeting them and thank them for their time and care insuring we had everything we needed. We would definitely visit again. "

"Cocobay was a mid-price resort; we looked at a couple others that were more expensive but looked like a "brand." We wanted something more rustic, authentically Carribbean and smaller. This was perfect for us. There is only one dining space, but the food was above average. Local and fresh. The setting was beautiful; private. The cottages do not have TVs, which was fine for us. The cottages were very clean and again, islandy! Just like the pictures. The bar was fantastic and the employees were friendly and helpful. I am gluten free; I cannot tell you how helpful they were and they make their own wonderful GF bread. If you want fancy, this is not it. If you want authenticity and lovely natural surroundings with wonderful people, this is for you."

"Property is lovely,(we were all inclusive), food is great, could prove pricey if not all incl. Drinks were free flowing and never too much trouble to prepare. Staff are all lovely and extremely helpful. Only problem is it is a little isolated 15 mins in a taxi to Dickenson bay and 20to 30 mins to St. Johns and shops. "

"The place was outstanding, the only bad experience was at check in. I notice guests were welcomed with a drink and we did not. The employee at reception just called out my room number but explained nothing. We left to find the room ourselves. The rest of employees were super friendly, the accommodation clean and I would recommend to everyone and come back again. Loved the excursions offered too right in the resort."

"We spent 10 wonderful days at The Verandah Resort. I previously stayed here 11 years ago and have always wanted to return and we were not disappointed. The setting amongst 30 acres of lush tropical gardens is simply spectacular. The rooms are all semi detached villa suites set amongst the gardens. We booked a Waterfront Suite which gave amazing views over the bay. Sitting on the balcony in the early morning and evening watching the pelicans and other bird life were priceless times of the day. There is a good range of restaurants- our favourite was Portofinos with a delicious menu of Italian dishes cooked to perfection. The quieter Rasta beach was perfect for chilling under the palm trees and walking across the sand to the beach grill for cocktails and lovely grilled dishes. One of the highlights of our stay was a tour of the plant nursery by Charles, the head gardener. His knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing and I felt very privileged that he gave up his time to share his love of the gardens. The feature of The Verandah which tops all others are the amazing staff. They are friendly, always laughing and enthusiastic and nothing is too much bother. A special mention to the lovely Nicole in Portofinos, the staff at the beach grill and all the buggy drivers! We hope to come back soon. Truly a very, very special place in paradise!"
