"The hotel itself was cosy with no noise. Great room BUT be warned if you are a woman, this area is very sketchy and we did not feel safe to leave the apartment once it was dark outside. Groups of young men loitered around outside and make comments/give weird stares. We wish we would have known about this before booking as safety is a top priority for us and we had to rearrange our plans to ensure we would not be out at dark. We also had to do detours to get back to avoid particulate seedy areas...

"I have stayed at this hotel perhaps 15 times over the past 5-6 years. Perhaps more times. Maybe over 100 days all together. I would think they would want to think about me as a VIP guest and reach out and ask how I am doing and maybe offer something or even ask for feedback directly. It is a bit impersonal. But I like the area and it is very convenient for me. "

"Finding the office to check in was simple, contrary to other reviews - I had no trouble. There are three flights of stairs that are unfriendly to wheeled luggage. No problem leaving my luggage at 9am after disembarking my cruise, but I was told although the apartment was not ready (understandable at that time) they would contact me when it was, so I could move in early. By 3.30pm i received no notification, so just returned to the office and sure enough, it was ready. Poor communication when...

Good price and good location

"We had trouble with check-in since we booked through hotels.com, but someone in the lobby let us in, and showed us the office which is behind the main door, in a weird spot. The office helped us check in early (we had planned to just leave our bags, but the room was ready). We booked a Private bathroom, and i loved the bathroom! It was quaint. The floor in the room was stained, and had a weird texture that i imagine is hard to clean, but we had brought slippers. Great price and great location though so worth it in my book"

Stellar location for trains, museums, nightlife

"An easy walk from National Theater station which has express and regular trains to the airport; a couple of blocks (probably the closest hotel) the summer ferry to 'museum' (Bygdoy) island, where you'll want to spend all day for the array of world-class museums. A block or so from Town Hall -Nobel and National museums; the Theater and Parliament in the other direction; just a block off the main drag with all the good tram and bus lines. ,,,So, possibly the best-located hotel in the city, yet nestled in a quiet corner. The breakfast buffet is also amazing, in a beautiful atrium; the staff is friendly & knowledgeable, and the room is clean with everything one needs. Comfy bed, good lighting, spacious bathroom. A perfect stay."
