"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"Lovely little property located in a quaint village:) Staff members were super friendly on arrival and the whole check in/out process was smooth. The property has a lot of charm but needs a little tlc. The bathroom is basic and shower not great but the rest of the facilities in the room were good. The bed was a little on the hard side and very squeaky. Overall a good stay and for what we paid we were happy :) thank you x"

"Although free parking is available, it is not on site parking, it's a 7 minute walk away. Access into the property is on the first floor (up a flight of stairs because the lift is out of order). The bedroom and bathroom are down a narrow spiral staircase, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The booklet in the apartment states that complimentary gin and tonic is available, that was not the case. The fridge/freezer was switched off at the wall and the power was in a hidden...

"This was a very nice one bedroom flat that had everything we needed for our stay. Our flat was on the top floor and with heavy luggage it was a bit of a challenge but overall we enjoyed out stay very much and would recommend it to others that want to explore York."

"50 stairs separate the loft from street level but the view is great. Nice views from all the windows except the one that opens onto the roof, which you might expect. The apartment isn't for tall people though and above 5'8" might be a little cramped. My wife and i now know how Quasimodo got his hump. That said I would not hold it against the nicely laid out apartment with its exposed 300 year old wood beams. A lovely place to stay right in the heart of the old city and immersed in history. "Cosy YES. Riverside NOT. The title gives the impression that you will have have a riverside view but It felt more like a basement and we had lovely views of the bins! The TV was a nightmare. Degree in technolgy needed. Instructions would have been helpful. Bathroom rough round the edges. Left it cleaner than I found it.... ! "

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable.
