There were multiple Elk and/or Deer outside our room every day. Plenty of options at the continental breakfast. Check in and check out were easy. Staff was friendly. Property could use some updates but not bad if you aren't expecting a lot of amenities.

Excellent location, easy access to the beautiful Estes lake and close to the RMNP. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. We didn’t have time to enjoy the evening entertainment provided. It will be perfect if warm breakfast options are added. Will definitely stay again.

room is dirty and smelly . bath tub has a big patch . Bed making noice . Able to hear sounds clearly from other rooms in the middle of the night . complimentary breakfast is horrible. very limited options and even the ones that r there were very cold . all those were just brought from frozen even bread , bagel , boiled egg too . nothing is fresh .For the price i paid , it’s completely unworthy.

The staff is friendly. Adequate breakfast. Cowboy Rodger singing and telling stories around the bonfire created a great atmosphere. The elk were lowing and bellowing just 20 yards away. Beautiful nights.

This was my first time staying at Murphy’s and it was a great location and experience right outside of RMNP. The front desk is great, they offer free breakfast in the mornings, and always communicated while to make sure our stay was okay. Free popcorn and coffee all day is a plus! Will definitely stay here again when I return.

Staffs there are good and friendly overall. The property is old and looks not clean. (Maybe because it is too old to be clean.) They have live music until about 9. The building itself is not noise proof at all. So, you can hear clearly what your neighbors do. Overall, it is noisy. I would not recommend but other places in this area may have similar problem.

Great for the price and easy to get to location. Lots of amenities such as DVD’s, bike rental, centrally located areas for hanging out. Easy check in.

This is an amazing place so well situated, The staff were lovely. Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and the views spectacular. Extra touches free coffee, hot chocolate and teas available, for the cold nights Videos, games and free popcorn. But who can forget Rodger the singing cowboy who brightened up our evening’s great entertainer and great voice. The other special touch a bottle of water and chocolate for your onward Journey. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely resort.
