Estate Saint Peters Vacation Rentals

"We just returned yesterday from a perfect 5 day stay. We were continuously greeted by wonderful front desk staff who always made us feel welcome, and feel at home. From morning one, we started to meet other guests, some who come back every year, and it immediately starts to feel like a little community. Wonderful staff led by Ted, and Chris, who you would see circulating throughout the property daily, and who both stopped by to say a warm hello to us multiple times, and check in to ensure we were comfortable, and ask if we needed anything. This is a special touch of true hospitality that you will not get at just any hotel. Beautiful grounds where we always felt safe. The morning offerings of fruit, and juice were perfect for us. We always had a piece a fruit to put in our beach bag to start off the day. So convenient to Frederiksted, we were able to walk out to perfect beaches for snorkeling, and down the street to great restaurants, and dive shops where we rented gear, and walked out to, and dove some of our best dives ever, including the Frederiksted pier. Other great excursions nearby including horseback riding on the beach, and into the rain forest. All the activities we came to do were all right nearby. We couldn't have asked for a better first stay on St Croix. We have already talked about coming back again for more diving, and we can't think of anywhere else we would like to stay than Sand Castle on the Beach. Book this hotel!!!"

"Although this resort is far away from the cities, that is the very reason we loved it! So beautiful, great ocean view from every room, wonderful staff who are the friendliest and most kind I've ever run into. Downsides would be that if you do not like to walk (we do), you'd need a car to get to Point Udall (which we missed on this trip), nearby casino & to the cities. Hiking trail right by the resort led to a turtle nesting beach, and great views of the island - be sure to wear leggings & good walking shoes - trail is a bit rocky & rough in spots. We used cabs & the VIHail ride share. That was very good & convenient to use. FYI cabs have set rates, so it'll cost you about $70 to get from airport to the hotel. Overall, we spent about $250 on transportation between cabs & share app. Still much cheaper than renting a car. We can't wait to return to this one next year & want to thank everyone at Grapetree Bay Hotel for a fantastic stay!"
