Hotels with Swimming Pool in Estate New Renobath, St. John

"This might seem like a small, ordinary hotel, however, it is anything but that. There’s a fabulous, outstanding view of Charlottee Amalie Harbor. One can also see it from the pool, as well. We saw two cruise ships. and sea airplanes taking off on the harbor. We were greeted by very nice receptionists. And had the opportunity to meet their professional chef, Shan, who is great and made the best Maui sandwiches…absolutely delicious. There are different levels and several steps to walk up and down. However, the property is unique, with lots of character. Definitely…a real Caribbean vibe. Ella, who is wonderful, our server and cook, for breakfast, makes the best coffee…I ever had… sorry Starbucks. She cooked us two scrambled eggs, three sausages, and toast, with a choice of bacon or sausage. All good.There is orange juice and cereal too. Oh yes, cannot forget how comfortable their beds are. Both of us slept well. Our room was clean."

"We liked the closeness to the airport but not being so isolated from restaurants and shops. The water was out for approximately 6 hours and they did not provide free bottled drinking water. We had to pay $2.00 a bottle and the person behind the counter was not very nice when telling us. We definitely should not have had to pay. We paid for a hotel with water. There was nowhere close to walk to get water without paying for a taxi to get it. I really needed water to take my medicine. "

"The views are just amazing! We were at the top level and it did require a lot of walking which as very steep but they have a shuttle service if needed. The pools are great. Small little beach area is not much but you could snorkel off it. It’s rocky. Water from restaurant was good and beautiful - most servers amazing but one or two were very grumpy. We had reservations at their higher end restaurant which when we went was closed and we had not gotten a call to let us know. Then next day the beach restaurant closed but that was they day we were going. The Coki beach area is awesome with a great little dive shop to rent snorkel gear or to take guided scuba dives. Highly recommended. Also power went out across the island on the day we were leaving so really did not affect us and they said it does happen from time to time. Would definely recommend staying here."
