Good location for a short stay. The hotel was walking distance to the train station and downtown.

Lovely property, convenient for station.
The staff are the best I’ve ever come across…. And I work in the industry so have stayed at hundreds of hotels.
Special mention to Dave and the beautiful Nicky. So hospitable not not mention the free drinks. Thanks all at Hotel Stay.

Not good experience

But the stuff is not friendly I think they were aggressive, the reception man interpret our reservation inaccuracy so he started to communicate with us based on this aggressively and when he realized his mistake he even didn’t apologize.

I have read your comments and am quite saddened that you have commented so unfairly and incorrect.
But since in your eyes customers are always the "king", thats how you treated me, i will leave it at this.
By the way, we still have the room unavailable to guests do to your way of " living " in them during your stay.
Gladly we will support you on finding a nice hotel during your next stay in Essen.

Posted 23 Jun 2019 on HotelsStaff was *super* friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and clean; ours was on the courtyard away from the busy street and was very quiet (we awoke to bird song).

Great welcome, info about the ammenities - area and very helpful staff
Location close too trains and trams - location has a split Re epitomized area.
