"We stayed for a week, had a superior and a classic rooms, so could compare the two. Very clean, comfortable, enough storage space, great bathrooms both of them, though I will book superior only next time as it is more space .The breakfast is outstanding, we had a late one each day and it was full of options . "Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. "

"We stayed here for one short night before taking the train back to Lille. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station - uphill on the way to the hotel! The staff were helpful and friendly, and we liked the aesthetic of the hotel. The wifi was not great, but that was not a huge issue for the night. The hotel restaurant was packed on Saturday night - advise making a reservation ahead of time if you can."

"I had low expectations of this hotel due to reviews but was very pleasantly surprised and would absolutely stay again. Can only assume poor reviews are for apartments and not rooms. We had a newly renovated suite which had a separate living area and two bathrooms. Yes you could hear music from outside but wasnt awful. We paid a supplement for the 'thinky' card as travelling with 2 year old- bit unclear what it actually covered bar a room with pureed sauces for pastilla for kids dinner? However...

"Great hotel in a perfect spot for skiing. Friendly efficient staff and comfortable rooms. Only downside is having to book an hour slot for the spa as it only has beds for 8 people. The sauna doesn’t work as gaps in the doors. Also I’ve never stayed in a 5* where you pay extra (we were HB) at breakfast for fresh orange and hot choc. Also no draft beer on a night and 50€ cheapest wine (was nice though). "

"Friendly staff. Hotel maybe a little tired but a good base for skiing holiday. An 8 min walk from the Town centre and a little longer to the ski lift. For some reason the hotel shuttle did not go to courmayeur ski lift but only to Dolonne lift. "
