Great biking destination hotel.

Be Warned
Posted 19 Aug 2020 on HotelsOnce in every ten years you experience a hotel that is just simply awful! This one excelled at being awful.
When you are in the hospitality business the key to success is hospitality.
This hotel needs to learn
1. Customer is always right even when they may not truely believe it
2. Turn an awkward moment into a positive experience with the customer
3. Modernize their property
4. When it is 90 degree and the property has no AC maybe open a window and turn on a fan prior to a guest checking in.
5. Label their photos to show what room you really get. Their is definitely some confusion on what room you might get.
Those looking to stay:
1. Verify what room you are getting. There is only two balcony rooms and these are the only ones worth booking.
2. Stay elsewhere and if necessary have dinner here.
3. Expect dated, rustic and rural. BTW no dinner on Sunday served.
4. Have a low expectation and you will be happy
5. If you want to watch the river then it is okay, if you want to stay overnight in a normal circa 1970 room then you will be in heaven.
Bottom line: our experience with the hotel was awful. Spent 30 mins in the hotel, got a 1970s hot box with no AC with no balcony ( we thought we booked a balcony room) went to dinner, came back checked out and then spent days trying to get a refund with no avail. Hotels.com customer services was Excellent despite the hotel being obstinate.

A hidden gem in Luxembourg
Posted 20 Oct 2018 on HotelsAn excellent gem of a hotel hidden in the valley of the river Sure. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and attentive and shared their very fine and detailed local knowledge. Room was clean and well serviced every day. Breakfast was relaxed with a wide ranging buffet. Dinner was an enjoyable experience with a balanced menu. The quality of the menu was shown by my meal being excellent although I was very envious of my partner's meal! Excellent value .
