Several members of our jeep club recently stayed here. Rooms were nice, comfortable, clean. Loved the digital door locks; so convenient to not fumble with keys. Vegan cafe on premises; bar/grill around corner. Only wish that they had provided an info sheet w the wifi pw and the location of the ice machine. (We found out by asking other guests.) YES, we recommend it and will stay here again.

The room was okay but the mattress and pillows were not good, cheap. The ice machine room was an old room that the ice machine was placed in and it was not well kept. Spend a few more $’s and go to a nicer place

The rooms have a kitchenette so you can cook a simple meal. The restaurant next door is somewhat related to the hotel. The menu is limited but the food is well prepared and tasty. A good option when staying in Escalante

Worst property we have stayed at in a long time. After a day of hiking in the national monument we arrived to check in but no staff were on site in the office. there was a sign taped to the window with a number to call if we needed assistance. we had to call about 5 times over the course of 30 min before we finally got an answer and they provided a code to check into the room. The room at first glance was okay…shower was very dirty and there was no soap and the body wash dispenser was completely out so we had to end up driving into town to find soap to shower with. we attempted contacting the number on the sign bc we decided we wanted to check out early and cancel our second nights stay. we tried all night with no answer. the property ended up charging us the second night staying we didn’t cancel in time, however, there was nobody physically there in person the over 24 hours we were there and did not answer the phone except the one time when we got the code to check in. the wifi barely worked and there were dead bugs in all the corners of the room and bathroom. do yourself a favor and find another place to stay if you want a good experience. finally got ahold of the property manager a week after our stay to attempt to resolve the issue for being charged the second night when we attempted to check out and they refused. terrible customer service - rather no service at all bc there was no one there working for our full day/nights stay.
