Service makes the difference
Posted 18 May 2022 on HotelsThe hotel offers less than expected. As a Resort & Spa it's expected to have Resort's facilities and to be a spa which nothing more than swimming-pool was found.
The service was the highlight, particularly at the breakfast, both Marco and Valentina did everything they could to make our experience the best. Congrats to this team!

Cute little place
Posted 13 Sep 2013This was a cute and quiet little hotel right on the beach. The cute part being the outside, not so much the room. The room was clean so we had no complaints, but for the price you would expect to get something a little nicer.
There was a man at reception that knew his stuff and was very helpful. He also spoke English very well. When the lady came in to replace him and we had a couple of questions for her, she couldn't really understand us.
The staff at breakfast were the worst. They don't leave the cutlery out for you to take. Instead, the staff is supposed to supply you with cutlery, which they never did. They were always hiding in the back room and talking. They never offered us a coffee or anything. We even ended up putting the spread on our toast with a spoon because we got tired of waiting (the spoons are the only thing they leave out). The staff at lunch (at the adjoining hotel) was very friendly and helpful, although service still took a while because he was the only one on the floor.
Overall not the best service, not the greatest location either. If you're looking to just relax on the beach, this is the place for you.

Lovely beachside resort

I Mulini Resort
Posted 27 Sep 2011 on HotelsWe hated everything about this hotel so much that we left after only one night even though we had pre-paid for three nights. It should be listed as a 2 star hotel. It is dirty and the area smells horrible.

Great room, poor location.
Posted 28 Jun 2011 on HotelsWhen we arrived there at 12.30 we were told to come back at 4.30 to check in, this is after a 4km walk from the port to the hotel in 28degree heat.
The iMulini section of the hotel is very impressive, our room was really nice and you have use of a small pool sperate from the main part of the hotel.
The Breakfast was good. If you have a car it's a perfect place to stay, if not I'd look for somewhere else closer to town although there is a decent restaurant/pizzeria across the road!!

Posted 9 Aug 2009 on Hotelslovely spot by the beach but much futher out than what was stated on the map+was impossible to get a taxi. also there was a water leak in bathroom+staff were not too helpful with this. floor was covered in water+there were no offers of assistance or compensation

Good Stay But...
Posted 6 Aug 2009We had a wonderful stay except for 2 key problems. First there were stray dogs everywhere and they would get into the area the resort was in. When they got in they were locked in in the evening so at 5:30 am the dogs would bark and wake you up. This was not pleasant because every time you think you could go back to sleep they would bark again and keep you up. I am a pretty light sleeper, but this still should not have happened. The second problem we encountered was that there were kids that ran around and would scream around the breakfast area which is where our room was. This was not the hotels fault but they could have said something to the parents of these children.
