"Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. "We checked out after one sleepless night. Our room was so loud inside it felt like we were in a nightclub, but worse, because it was a mixture of 3-4 nearby clubs and bars music. The hostel itself hadn’t even started any live music yet when we arrived. I don’t know how the Hostel can actually charge money for this room, let alone nearly 100 dollars. "There was no hot water, no real curtains in the room. Being a girl alone this was scary at night. my friend actually broke her foot trying to walk down the steep hill. I am happy to provide proof. "It was quiet area. I was unable to contact host on arrival, it is an out of way location, quite stressful.
