"This is a beautiful hotel, staff are wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. It is very modern and chic with beautiful views from the 360 bar and restaurant on the 8th floor. "I have stayed here a number of times before - it is clean, modern, well furbished and well located 5 mins walk from either the Yumbo or the Beach. It has two good pools and entertainment nightly. It was full on my recent visit and unfortunately for some reason staff were reserving large numbers of loungers before dawn each morning for guests who actually sometimes didn't use them during the day. This was annoying as these were in the best spots which meant you had to keep trying to move around...

"The Don Miguel hotel is HUGE! It's a large, sprawling hotel that needs a bit of renovation, but is in a great location, with the entrance being on the corner of a main road. "The hotel is both imposing and stunning, but sits well amidst beautifully landscaped pools and tropical gardens of swaying palms and parrots in the trees. Best location, close to lots of shopping/restaurants and the beach and dunes.
