Waste of money, rather go elsewhere.

Not so good, Shower very tiny sacred to move around in shower because one side soap dish taking unnecessary space, shower door very difficult place, the main door of bathroom don't close no privacy at all. Aircon making noise couldn't sleep, staff loading inside the passage making loud noise, talking super loud and disturbing guest, when you enter hotel no one is sitting in front sometimes have to wait. Overall not good.

I expected more. I was very disappointed. We had 1 towel in our room, the tv wasn’t working, the bed was broken. It was a very uncomfortable stay. I couldn’t wait to check out. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

A pleasant surprise.

We were pleasantly surprised at Bon Hotel Empangeni. The staff were friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay there again.

Good short stay

We arrived too early to check in but the staff were friendly and brought us a welcome drink. The room was big enough and the bed was very big and comfortable. The location of the hotel is not the greatest and there is not much to do in the immediate area. However this did not bother us as we did not spend much time there and there are many places to visit a short drive away. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a good stay.

A Good Hotel

This is my first time renting a Hotel. Despite not having a kitchen to work with, it is pretty good. I would suggest providing a channel guide for the guests, so they know where the channels are on and what's viewing. Beside that, it was very good and staff was helpful and the restaurant was affordable and their food was good.

A mediocre stopover

This hotel can do for a stopover, but I would not recommend it for a stay. We stopped in this hotel for one night on our way North. The extensive construction work in the area and the poor lighting made it difficult to find the place. The hotel itself was ok, but nothing special. The room felt old and wasn't set up in a practical way at all. Soundproofing wasn't a strong suit either: we had noisy neighbours and could hear them and their activities quite clearly. There was also a mixup at check-out : the room had been paid for at booking, but the clerk on duty wanted us to pay again. It took some time to clear up the misunderstanding. The restaurant however was fine. We had diner and breakfast there, and the staff there was very friendly.

Nice Hotel close to everything

We stayed 4 nights and had a wedding on the grounds. everything was great with the staff and hotel. I can only give it a 4 because it was not a 5 star hotel but a 4 star for a 2 star price!
