Too noisy in the bar. No lounge. Disappointing food.

Covenient and comfortable hotel but in need of some refurbishment

Room we had was comfortable bathroom on small side but manageable for 1 night. Did find the room was continuously noisy from outside road noise and lorries loading/unloading.

Pleasant stay in a well run pub hotel
Posted 22 Jul 2024 on HotelsThe Lamb was clean and comfortable for a one night stay while in Ely for a family wedding. I booked this for family who came over from the USA. They liked their stay and the rooms. They'd have preferred AC to the standing fan but I think that's because they're from US. Most pub hotels won't have AC.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a complicated booking and they were very flexible to make it work. Smooth check in and helped with taxis. A really pleasant stay I hear.
