Hidden jewel at the end of Africa! Fantastic service from staff. Clean and well cared for property. A bit difficult to access but well worth it.

An oasis of calm
Posted 2 Feb 2024 on HotelsElmina Bay was excellent- the rooms and amenities were very clean. The food was extremely fresh and good. The staff were friendly with only a couple of exceptions- nothing was too much for our comfort. The owner was helpful and obliging- the pool was cleaned every day and was big. There was a steady trickle of guests but the atmosphere was serene and peaceful- good for us. Some aspects were a little tired ( Sun loungers/ relaxing areas) but the towels were large and thick. We would stay again if we were in the area.

My stay was quite brief however, this resort was perfect for a getaway. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were well lit and the entire landscape was amazing. The ocean view was awesome. The service was great, staff were very polite, helpful, and extremely professional. Truly an enjoyable stay and will love to return for a longer stay.

Check-in: Problem with reservationRoom LocationAM replied on Aug 21We are not sure why it is in order to publish this incorrect review. The guest did not arrive to check in, neither did they cancel their booking with us. We sent msgs via WhatsApp assuring them that their room was ready for check in, and also posted the response below when we saw a msg on the Expedia platform, as below...."Good evening, there is no problem with this reservation. The room is prepared and we are waiting for the guests to arrive and check in. Guest called us earlier to request ocean view room, and we have that ready. Please contact us on..... for any further clarification. Thank you"
