The good - Location was great, pricing was great, room was clean and very spacious. Has an actual stove to cook. The bad - the room was listed with hair dryer but there was none. No free breakfast included, BUT has free coffee, fresh fruits and snacks. Over all, exceptional value for the price you’re paying. It’s also about 30-40 minutes fro Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

Unique property as the owners brought Maine into the hotel, from natural pine smells to the artwork. If you are traveling to Acadia, don’t miss the opportunity to stay at this hotel. The room is spacious with beautiful materials

Stone Park was just what we needed for our stay. I missed the name of the gentleman but the person who was working the desk was very friendly and attentive. Offered some good suggestions for places to grab food. The lobby area also had a bunch of cookies, muffins etc which was a nice touch and the hotel in general was cozy with candles lit and added a nice scent. One downside is no elevator for the 3 level building but really not an issue for us personally. Room was clean and had a bedroom and a separate living/ cooking set up. We were only staying for one night but I think this could be a great option for people wanting to stay a bit longer where it has a full size fridge, stove etc. and with the location close to bar harbor and Acadia but a fraction of the cost of any other places you could stay in the area. Would stay here again without question.

The staff at this property was extremely helpful and considerate. When we checked in we found out that there was no crib/pack n play for our infant. However, they went out of their way to get us one and it made all the difference. The location to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park was also convenient and made for a very easy drive. Thank you!

This is a beautiful new hotel. We did not notice on Expedia that the property does not have an elevator lucky for me . . . they were able to put us in a ground floor room as I was recovering from knee surgery. Management was very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful new hotel. Full refrigerator and stove, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The down side is that there are 3 stories and no elevator. The stairways are very long. Not good for hauling luggage or for those with difficulty in mobility. Otherwise a great new hotel.

I had really high hopes for this place. It’s nice in that it’s new and very modern, but the quality and craftsmanship in building is lacking. Is roomy and does have nice features. It definitely is not anymore soundproof than any other hotel, noise could be heard from other rooms and from the hall. Also to note there is no elevator and a fairly large set of stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor. Lastly one of the wash rags from the bathroom was not cleaned or not cleaned well, there was makeup still left all for the rag folded and placed in the bathroom. I would probably pass on staying here again.

Positives: This is a hidden gem in Ellsworth. If you have a family and like to cook when you travel, nothing like a good kitchen in your apt/hotel. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Negatives: Others have talked of it - No elevator for older/handicapped people if you get a room upstairs, no ice box Overall good value for the money.

VERY SURPRISED THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! We were put on the top floor because the lower level is still under construction. EXPEDIA said that if we checked in after 4PM we should get email from property with instructions. NO EMAIL ever received but luckily that was wrong info since there was someone at the front desk. Bed was missing the top sheet only a mattress cover. Walls are so thin i heard the bass of the musaic or tv from next door ALL NIGHT LONG in a perpetual loop.

No elevator or handicap access above 1st floor. Room doors had a threshold like a residential garage access door. The property is new and unfinished… ground level rooms were not available. Our room was clean with a kitchenette, sitting room with large screen Tv. Sower was cheap and small fiberglass unit in an otherwise nice bathroom. Bed and pillows are comfy. A staff person walked in without knocking and said they needed a pillow. The pool was a short walk across the parking lot.

STAY HERE.... YOU WON'T REGRET IT! This hotel was amazing! It felt like we were staying at the Arconia in the show, "Only Murders in the Building" with it's super grand feels. It is newly renovated/remodeled so everything was brand new looking and beautifully updated. The lobby had such a calm and fantastic aroma when you walked in and the feeling carried throughout the rest of the stay. They prepare your room for you with fireplace videos on the TVs which show how much they truly care for their guests. I wish all hotels were like this experience we had at the Stone Park. They were super accommodating with our dogs as well. We were a little worried when we booked it that we should have stayed closer to Bar Harbor since we were exploring Acadia National Park the days we were visiting, however, the drive was super easy and only took about 15 minutes to get to the park which was perfect. I would recommend this hotel over and over.
