Staff were friendly and helpful, room was tidy and spacious, breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Very close walking distance to all attractions and main strip in Ella

The guy in the reception was really friendly, the breakfast was great and also the room, but the manager was rude and questioned are booking and wanted to change us to a smaller room and charge us extra for breakfast when it was actually included.

Good location, felt empty though

The location was great for your Ella staple visits - near town, on route to Little Adams Peak and 9 Arches Bridge. Only unfortunate thing was that the hotel felt empty, which isn’t great as a solo traveler. WiFi didn’t work though, and staff wasn’t around much for help - when I asked about the WiFi they insisted it was an issue with me (I had three devices...same issues) aka not their fault. Eventually the owner came out and was a little rude. I left a day earlier than planned.

Great area, okay hotel

Our room awkwardly located and so very noisy. Rooms were okay standard, bed not the greatest. Ideal location and very helpful staff. The breakfast was nice and enjoyed roof top views. Would stay again, but different room.

Great location

Easy to get to Main Street, the station as well as the walk for 7 arch bridge. Calmer location. Staff were so helpful and we were given a local map of the area. Wonderful generous breakfasts which included coconut pancakes. I lioved this place.

Mediocre hotel, good location.

Hotel is in a great location, easy walk to most of the tourist attractions and town centre. The room was very tired and used. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was only one powerpoint in the room and that was used by the refrigerator. Breakfast was very basic. Overall the stay was very average.

Friendly management, disappointing room.

A bit disappointing. Id been saying in other places around the same price range, but the quality of the room wasnt really up to scratch. No bedside tables, the door to the bathroom wouldnt close properly, ants everywhere in the bathroom, the shower head set lower than my head, and a few other minor issues. However, the management was extremely hospitable. Very kind and helpful. Good breakfast.

First the positive. Location is very good. Breakfasts were good. Room seemed decent, though nothing special. Owner very helpful with directions to area sites of interest. Unfortunately, the hotel had no electricity the entire time I was there (2 nights), so no hot water, no lights, and no WiFi. While I know this was beyond the control of the owner, I still feel like I didn’t get what I paid for (and there was no adjustment in price made or offered).
