DISAPPOINTING
Posted 9 May 2019 on HotelsThe room was MUCH smaller then it looked online. Also the pullout was NOT good. Also the up stair bedroom needs shades or better shades. When the sun comes up its like a spot light. Sleeping after 5am is impossible.

Great place. The villas have an upstairs bedroom and roomy downstairs with comfortable couch and nice kitchen area. Great view of Banks Lake, too. Please note this site adds a reservation fee and an additional cleaning fee to the price shown on hotels.com they added a $25 oee day pet fee, too.

Still shaking my head...
Posted 5 Nov 2018 on HotelsThese accommodations were very confusing! The entire place was like a ghost town (we stayed in early November). The office, store and cantina restaurant and bar were completely shut down (for the winter it appeared). We did not see a single staff member for our entire 3 day stay! Upon arrival, we couldn't find anyone and all phone numbers listed said they were unavailable (we were NOT arriving after hours btw). We finally just went to our unit listed and found the door unlocked and the key on the counter! Weird! Anyway, the unit itself was clean and tidy. The kitchen only has the bare minimum for uninsels. The dining options in this town are very minimal so using the kitchen is a must. It is hard to make bacon, eggs and hashbrowns with only one skillet! I spent a large portion of my time washing dishes so as to have them to use for the next meal. The bed was comfortable and there are two heaters to keep it toasty, but they are very noisy. The view was extremely disappointing. It was nothing like the advertised unobstructed view from the website! (See photo). There is no free wifi. You must pay extra on your credit card if you want to have access to their wifi ntwork. TV channels are basic with no premium channels. Overall, a decent, no frills, very impersonal stay.

Checking in was a hastle I made it clear that I would check in late and turns out the intermediary company that set this up put their name in the system not mine so getting in touch with the correct people and getting it cleared up was obnoxious and stressful. There was no TP in the bathroom and honestly the bed was not comfortable at all. I would not stay here again.

This property falsely advertised pricing on Expedia. They advertised a total price of $275.52 and even said "no surprises! Here's a breakdown of the cost." The resort charged me $378.82 the day after i booked, then they emailed me a contract (after they already charged) with a completely different cost per night, charging an extra fee for my 2 young children, a reservation fee, cleaning fee, and additional tax on the taxes quoted on the Expedia site. None of these fees were ever advertised on the website. Every other property I looked at had any additional charges advertised prior to booking! And the resort charged a completely different price per night!! When i tried to contact the resort because of the discrepancy in price and to tell them i never agreed to this price and asked to cancel the booking, they argued that the prices were advertised on the site and i just couldnt see it. When contacting Expedia, they assured me they would cancel the booking and refund me. That never happened. I spoke with 7 or 8 different Expedia supervisors who told me the resort had falsely advertised and i would get my money back but they never refunded me.

Hmmm
Posted 10 Aug 2018 on HotelsA bit disappointed, as it was listed as a condo/villa with a full kitchen. Lots of pots and pans provided, but NO stove on which to use them!!
Listing should also state that there is NO television unless you rent a five bedroom unit!!!
Listing states free WiFi, but it's not available unless you walk up to the main lodge!!!

Nice area, condo - not so nice
Posted 4 Aug 2018 on HotelsThe area is beautiful, however this condo could use a good cleaning and lots of updating. It was obvious that the room had not been vacuumed in some time. The carpet was very old and stained. The Hotels.com description listed a TV, DVD player & fireplace, the room had none of these. The WIFI did not work the entire 3 days, ran into other guests with the same problem. The condo is part of a campground, I would not refer to this as a resort. I made my reservation through Hotels.com, then received a separate invoice through the property which added another $100+ for two nights - this included a cleaning fee and other fees which were not listed on the hotels.com invoice. Considering all this, the room seemed overpriced
