The only reasonable staffs are a lady and a gentleman called Mathew at reception table. They call it buffet but food not enough for people, you'll serve rice and wait for other food, which is very inconvenient and shameful standing waiting for food. They need to train all their staffs or they'll keep losing customers. Not the best place to spend your money. My opinion.

Terrible Service & Condition

I am a very accepting person when it comes to hotel’s condition, but I give very low rating to this experience. The phone did not work, no hot water, room was stocked for single person (1 towel, but we were two), windows didn’t even latch, said towel was requested at 12:30pm and it arrived around 6:30pm.(after I had already requested it again…which came much more quickly). The location is swarmed by mosquitos..as there aren’t screens or AC…only the bed nets available. Wifi did work. Restaurant took 1 1/2 hours to produce a sandwich and a vegetable curry…even though we were the only ones there at 5:15 pm. Yet was priced comparatively to the Boma..which was far far better.

Pros: - the grounds were beautiful. - breakfast serving staff were very helpful. Cons: - Terrible room: the bathrooms plumbing is broken and rusted. My toilet was used and unflushed. - Discrimination when allocating rooms by reception staff. - Paper thin walls: you can hear everything in your neighbors room.

Bad experiences

Positive: - breakfast was nice Negative: - staff was not really service minded - the rooms are worn out and need a makeover. We changed rooms two times. - the bathroom was flooding and full of mold on the walls. - windows couldn't close properly, because the handles were broken. It was really cold at the nights. - only in the rooms on the ground floor are telephones. It was out of service in our room. - while checking out the receptionist told me that my credit card didn't go through, eventhought I paid the stay in advance. It seems that this hotel is concentrated more on conferences than individuals (when ordered something it took longer time with the information that they needed to serve a conference group first).
