Posted 3 Jun 2024 on HotelsIt was ok for one night. I thought the hotel was a little tired and need of some TLC. The shower was cold, not enough accessible power sockets, TV remote didn't work, the patio doors were very difficult to open. But it was clean and comfortable.

The so called "beach area" is terribly designed and we didn't use it at all, restaurant is really small, our room had multiple issues. The property is very tired and needs lots of maintance. Internet is extremely slow, forget about doing some work. Too many mosquitos everywhere. It has nothing to do with the usual Radisson level of service and quality. I don't feel this is a 5 star hotel at all and for the money we paid it was a bery bad deal. Currently we're in another hotel (just 50 km away) - price is 2 times cheaper and the overall experience is twice better.

I can't thank the staff enough, from Mohamed, who cleaned the room, to the dining room attendant, the beach personnel, all the bar staff, and the front desk, who gave complete help in making our time a great experience. I highly recommend staying here.

I booked this hotel due to the Radisson reputation and sadly did not do enough research. On reflection the 1 and 2 star recent reviews on other sites echoed our experience which had the potential to spoil our holiday.
Lucky we visited port ghalib to scuba dive and that was achieved, thankfully with a company not associated with this hotel.
