"It is truly an amazing hostel with the most incredible view where you can chill and have a meal BUT they don’t tell you how hard it is to get there with a suitcase. There also has been some mix up with the storage lockers, because they are not numbered my stuff got moved without my knowledge by a member of staff to accommodate another guest, and when I returned from a day tour I found some of my belongings were just lying on the floor and that wasn’t very nice."

"This is a great spot for meeting fellow travelers and organizing tours from. Like others have said, definitely a party hostel with free drinks from 7-11 pm. The private room bed we had was pretty hard, so a little rough sleep. Breakfast and coffee included in your stay. There are quite a few restaurants nearby or its an easy ride into El Nido town proper. "

"The worst DIVE ever. Upon walking in to the area, it was completely nasty. Was offered a room without air conditioning. Are you serious in the Philippines!. Walked right out and did not get a refund eventhough we did not stay there and the terms of agreement were not honored! Be extra careful with these rip-offs!"

"Cherry's Courtyard is a fake. It is not what it is the way they describe or advertise in the Expedia. This is a clear case of fraud advertising. The place is in the middle of squatters area. "

"Much better than my stay at The Outpost a week ago. Decent sized single bed, effective blackout curtain, drying racks outside, a small changing area in the room for privacy, sufficient hooks for ‘stuff’ as well as aircon, a fan, plug sockets, hot water etc. It’s not somewhere to hang out although there’s the vegan cafe upstairs (they do have cows’ milk for coffee for those of us who still do that sort of thing) but it’s a great place to sleep despite its proximity to the main road. to the...

"Basic but fantastic! The staff are helpful and friendly. AC and hot showers are greatly appreciated after island hopping all day. The staff live karaoke and will get you involved so warm up your singing voice. Free breakfast was also a massive plus. I stayed extra nights "

"The view was amazing, but the room wasn’t was we expected, we had the private room with the private bathroom. We had to call someone from the front desk every day to turn on the hot water. The room had a smell that was hard to get over. The hallway were dusty, they tried to clean them as much as possible. And you can’t use your shoes inside. "Mua Tala was exceptionally clean! The bed was comfy, and the shower had great water pressure which was lacking in a previous resort. The rooms were exactly how it was online, but better. Staff were helpful and very friendly. They carried our luggage’s from the beach front to our van transfer which was very very appreciated. We would recommend others to stay here and we would again whenever we return to El Nido :) "

"The views were incredible the staff was outstanding especially Ulli who has the smile of an angel. The rooms were priced very reasonable. The room I had was without a view on the lower level and could use a little updating but it was only used for sleeping so no big deal. The owner is very protective of his guest, by this I mean I had a pickup scheduled and somehow or another there was a delay. The owner drove down to the pickup location on his motorbike and made sure I was taken care of. That was service over and above. "

" My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. The resort itself is located in a very convenient location to all the restaurants while not being immediately in the town center. We enjoyed the massages at their spa and the staff were very helpful in arranging our tours and transportation. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and ours even included a small personal pool or jacuzzi. We would be happy to stay here again. "

"This guest house provides 5 star service from the owner and his wife, to all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with help and advice in every aspect of our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the property is eco-friendly. When the pool is finished, this will be the icing on the cake! Thank you Noud, Jennifer and staff! :)"
