"I had a wonderful stay at the HB Xalapa. The staff was very friendly and professional. Despite being next to a busy road, the room was surprisingly quiet. The bed was amazing! I really slept well in and the room itself was well apportioned. The only reason I did not give top marks was because the WiFi was poor - I could not a consistent and stable connection and had to use data on my phone and give up trying to use my computer. "Nice hotel, I have stayed here several times. This time, there was no hot water and no soap in the bathroom. The reservation said breakfast was included but it wad not. Ther offered me the smallest buffet I have ever seen for about $8 use, I declined it and ate elsewhere and had a very good breakfast at a lower price. Its ok to stay here but take your own soap an count on dining elsewhere. The staff were nice except the woman at the front desk. I like the rooms and the wifi works OK though slow...

The picture of the exterior of the hotel is where the busses are parked and pick up passengers. You can hear bus noises and hallway noise. "This is a good place to stay if you’re on a budget. The building itself is pretty cool and the location is convenient for what we needed. It’s right across the street from Crystal Plaza so we went shopping and had some food. A lot of people complain that the bed was too hard that didn’t bother me, but the pillows were definitely too hard. I wish that the decorations were more accurate to the photos. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and Jenny at the front desk was really kind. "

"The hotel was beautiful! The restaurant had amazing food, the service was great and everyone was friendly. I had a room close to the stadium/main street above the pool with a patio overlooking all the action. The street noise was loud. I acquired ear plugs and had no issues. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Our stay at this hostel was good, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 1 bunk bedroom and the area was clean (including the bathroom). The staff even took care of our luggage for a couple of hours while we came back from a trip. Our only complaints are that the shower barely had any pressure, one of the lockers didn't close, and that the window was open when we arrived, so the room had mosquitoes inside.
