Not what you expect for the price

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The AC was either full blast directly to the bed or off, no way to control it. I stayed for 4 nights with my family and only got a small shampoo and shower gel, not enough for 1 day. The floor was full of dirt. You must take the garbage out or they charge you EUR 50. The bed and sofa bed where very uncomfortable.

We understand that being able to control the temperature in your room is important for comfort, and our apartments do feature individually controlled air conditioning for this purpose. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the AC and would like to remind future guests that our front desk team is available to assist with any in-room amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Regarding toiletries, they are intended as a starter kit to welcome our guests, and for stays longer than 6 days, we provide replenishments as part of our scheduled cleaning service, and we will be installing dispensers in all of our apartments soon. For the cleanliness concerns, we take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and would have been happy to address this immediately had it been brought to our attention during your stay. We do ask our guests to dispose of their trash to help us maintain the apartments, and we apologize if this policy caused any inconvenience. They make us take garbage out. Not enough toliet paper. No daily cleaning service.

Regarding the provision of toilet paper, we supply a starter kit that includes essential toiletries to ensure our guests have everything they need upon arrival. Bathroom could use a refresh. Beds were not the best quality.

Location was amazing for us. Property shows significant wear and tear and didn’t feel clean. Beddings had stains and were not comfortable. The swimming pool looks like a large bath tub…about 10x3ft

We love our stay in this appartement. It is close to everything! Aldi supermarket is really nice and we find everything we need. We loved the neighborhood. The ice-cream at DeLaCrem worth the wait. 15 min from La Ramblas. The apartment is quiet and nice. The little pool was appreciated by the kids. The only thing that we can complain is the moisture in the shower. Nora was really nice at the front desk! Thanks!

The place was in a very good location, lots of food and close to La Rambla. The bathroom was dirty, lots of mold but good enough to use. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was we booked 2 twin beds and a sofa bed but we ended up with 2 twin beds and an L-shaped sofa so our 2 kids had to sleep on the hard sofa mattress. We asked the front desk about it and they said it was a sofa bed. It was not a sofa bed (see photos). My parents stayed in another apartment and they had a sofa bed.

Likes: 1. Location: near many restaurants and cafés, walking distance to La Rambla, and access to excellent transit 2. Kitchenette: it was very nice to have a kettle, sink, fridge, and microwave. There was even a washing machine but no dryer and a rule against drying clothes in the window. 3. Dining nook: a very cute little (and I do mean little) table and 4 chairs set with a view into the courtyard. Dislikes: 1. Size: the superior room was small for 4 people (2 adults, one 13-year-old and one 10-year-old in our case). The double bed and the double fold-out couch take up most of the floor space, making it difficult to move around. 2. Swimming pool: the pool was a big factor in booking for us because we were worried Barcelona might be very hot and we wanted to be able to cool down. We were disappointed when we checked in and learned that the Aramunt pool was closed… until we saw the pool. It would have been just as disappointing open, because it is the smallest pool I have ever seen; more like three bathtubs connected lengthwise. 3. Beds: too small for our family. The pull-out couch was uncomfortable for two people because it moved and squeaked with every shift. 4. Power outage: we arrived on an overnight flight and needed a nap. The room was too hot to sleep and we thought the AC was broken, but it turned there was a power outage. Once the power was back on, the AC worked great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and if we had wanted to cook, we had that ability. They provided with a cleaning packet and a coffee/tea packet. You also had to pick up all the trash and remove it from room and throw it out at the bin outside the building if you wanted to avoid fees. Also, no cleaning services to the room which was okay since we only stayed three days.

You had to ask for extra toilet paper. No instructions on using the clothes washer. Shower leaked every time onto floor ever time you took shower. Not enough towels.
