Great hotel but rooms need a deep clean!
Posted 26 Aug 2024 on HotelsRooms really do need a deep clean. Mold above the shower. Limescale build up in the toilet and shower heads. Bed had a big sharp piece of wood underneath. Windows were dirty. Stains around the room and wallpaper was ripped in places.
On a positive note, common areas were excellent clean and looked great. The bar was brilliant and the pool/ gym far exceeded our expectations!
Staff were very helpful and polite at every turn including the cleaning staff, security, reception and bar staff. We felt welcomed and helped whenever we spoke to somebody.
Location is a bit far out from the centre for tourists but it’s not that bad with the great bus system.
Better signage on the way in to point you to the reception would be helpful as the concierge entrance looks like the main entrance.
Our last night there was a lot of loud children from the sports centre in the hotel drinking and smoking everywhere which was a little intimidating for a young family so perhaps extra security would have been good on a night like that as they were up all night causing disturbance.
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

Rooms are large, clean and convenient. However, one point to share. Bed sheets didn't get changed for the three days I was there.

We were greeted with a smile and made us at home and went beyond like did surprise my husband on his birthday with balloons in the room when we arrived. When yiu request something they will do their best to accommodate you. The facilities all good like the gym and swimming pool and can rent a bike to go around the area, superb 👌

Directions for reception were vague and took me time to locate for its a conference Centre additionally and a large sprawling building
