Arrived late after a long drive from Oslo. I was greeted warmly, and the next morning the breakfast was spectacular. Thank you!

Posted 14 Oct 2019 on HotelsBeautiful guesthouse. Lovely atmosphere. Scrumptious breakfast. Our heater was not working but that was possibly due to the time of the year. We didn’t end up asking. They had games to play. Shared bathroom was not awkward. Cute room. Clean!

Great accomodation in spectacular surroundings

Hotel was far from the Eidfjord town
Younger staff was very unfriendly
Bottom bit of one of the beds was wet
Bathroom was away from the main room and it was via a shared space
Breakfast spread was really good
Older staff was very friendly and helpful

Thank you for your visit and you have taken the time to write a feedback.
All rooms here are different with different prices, therefore it is possible to choose whether you want shared bathroom facilities or private.
You write that the center is far, everything is relatively, most guests arrive by car and it takes about 4 minutes to reach the city center.
Our guests come here as a rule because of nature here, so the hotel was built here between mountains and lakes in the last century
I see you think that the young man was rude and that he had spilled water at the end of the bed.
I do not quite know what you mean, but it is possible that he has not thoroughly dried the floor after the floor wash.
We of course want the guests to have a good experience here, so this will be passed on to the young man, who is not a regular part of the staff here.

At home away from home in Eidfjord
