We really enjoyed our stay here! It exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The view was beautiful. I highly recommend a stay at Skaroas country cabins.

Far and away the best place we stayed in Iceland over our 10 day trip. Immaculate new private cabins with amazing views from inside the cabin and covered deck. It was the only place we wished we stayed more nights at while touring ring road.
Ari and Naomi are exceptional and knowledgeable hosts. They met us for check in at the requested time despite — due to our own fault — us not being able to contact them as described (we shouldn’t have dialed the country code:( ). We felt very welcome and were happy they shared great recommendations for travel, food and hikes. They also had treats waiting for us and offered to mail us a trivial item left behind.
To stay anywhere else in this area would be a mistake. Great place and remarkable hosts.
