We loved our cabins (traveling with another couple). The whole set up is attractive and comfortable and we wanted to stay for longer than the two nights we were there. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Great spot to look for the northern lights

These little cabins are on beautiful property and the view has so far been unmatched on our trip! Everything you need is provided for a comfortable stay. We were even able to see northern lights one night of our stay (and probability was only a 3 out of 9!!)

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage for our 2 day stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The location is not very convenient for any activities, at least any that we knew of. The city of Egilstaddir is about a 20 minute drive. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was a true highlight. Not fancy but clean, cozy, and completely everything you need for a quiet night. Read a book on the porch and watched the light change, made a little dinner, had a great sleep, etc. just lovely.

We loved our little cabin at Stora Sandfell! The cabins are nextled amongst fir trees, so felt very private. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The bathroom was larger than expected. This was an excellent location for us as it was located within a 2 hour radius of several sites we wanted to see. The cabin even had a little porch. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Super cute cedar cabins. Well laid out with little kitchenette. The bathroom is nice as well. Love how the house was integrated into the surrounds of the trees and the farmland around the area with a little stream in back of the cabin. The supermarket is about 20 minute drive back into town and nice areas to explore too Loved every moment and would recommend others to come and experience e the friendly hospitality of the host and the horses 🐎 👍
