Quiet yet convenient

Clean and quiet, away from the bustle. of the city but close enough to easily access Edinburgh as well as walking distance to the village of East Calder with restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was lovely and offered a nice variety. Try the Haggis, it's delicious.

Homely and Comfortable Stay
Posted 6 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe had a fabulous evening after arriving from our travels. Lorna was very welcoming and excellent as a host. There was a lovely walk at their doorstep (Almondell Country Park) which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lorna was very accommodating to provide us an early breakfast the next morning since we had to leave early and also kindly packed our cooked breakfast. Highly recommend this property.
