Beautiful hotel, staff is nice and courteous. If you have an early arrival my advice is to contact the hotel and see if they can have a room ready for you especially after a long flight. If not you can leave your bags and explore. Convenient location!

The room is very nice but the twin beds are really small. The hotel is clean and smells good but the housekeeping in the room was lacking. It is a little outside the historic area

good location, parking is 5 min walk, but safe, lot of restaurants. Can walk to major Edinburgh's key tourist attractions.

the staff could have been more welcoming.
ordered a taxi and was left waiting outside the hotel for 15minutes (having chased reception twice) before hailing my own cab.
disappointed that the kitchen seemed to close early (before 9.30pm) and then being offered “the night menu” in my room only. at least i persuaded the barman to let me eat in the bar/reataurant area (at 945 when people were still finishing dinner around me).
all in all, distinctly average, which for a Voco is disappointing (i stay at the Hague Voco all the time).

Fabulous stay
Posted 9 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe had a fabulous stay at Voco Edinburgh. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean, the housekeeping team are fantastic.
Breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve had in a hotel for a long time, so much choice and amazing service. Bar also great in the evening, once again with amazing service. All in all a first class service from all staff we encountered, particularly the girls on the front desk!
Our only fault would be the pillows, it would be great to have another option as these are too soft but of course that is personal preference.

Great Family Stay
Posted 9 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe stayed for 1 night as we were attending the Taylor Swift Concert. All of the staff in the hotel were lovely and so welcoming. Room was a good size, room service was great quality and breakfast had a fantastic range. I will be booking this hotel for any future Edinburgh visits.
