Difficult to find parking during the day.

It was close to the Royal Mile and Old town. Walkable to the train station. Wonderful staff. Rooms small but decent bed and big fluffy towels.

We were here during the " festivals" so it was expensive like all establishments. Really nice staff, 24 desk help, clean ( small) rooms.

A Handy Hotel for the Festival
Posted 23 Aug 2024 on HotelsWe were in Edinburgh for the Festival Fringe, so our accommodation was only for sleeping, and it filled the bill perfectly. The hotel has a great situation for the most popular venues, while still being in a quiet area.
The rooms were clean and the toiletries that were provided were good quality.
The room was small with a large double bed up against the wall, which meant one person climbing in and out, and you had to climb over the bed to reach the window. All this was shown in the advertising so there was no duplicity involved. The bed was clean and very comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Reception was bright and cheerful.
Be aware there is no lift and 4 floors.
We would stay here again, but maybe not on the 3rd floor.
