Hi Garth,Thank you for your feedback.We are glad you have allocated 1 credit point for keeping your room intact to avoid the legal force,Your party of 3 arrived at 1000hrs 08/11/24 and was given the main entrance key. Your promised to return between 1500 -1600hrs to exchange for your room key. But you chose to phone at 1800hrs to assure you still remembered needing to pickup your room keys. Adding that it would be soon. We waited until 0100hrs to hand you the key but decided to leave it at the main reception desk with instruction.You were angry on both morning because you missed breakfast for being late. You arrived at 1030hrs while the breakfast room closed at 0930hrs which were well notified verbally and clearly display in your room and on corridor desk. At first I just thought this could be the language and cultural barriers. Your languages are foul with threat of blackmails. Despite your South Africa rugby teams have achieved highly, you have brought to them shame and disappointment . Honestly this was the first time I had to deal with rugby supporters who didn't behave well as expected. We would like to think we are all in the same civilise world. We wish you all the best in every sense.

Hi Semen,Thank you for your feedback. We never intended to be rude to our guest. We wished we have the chance to discuss the issues while you were here. We found the conversations to you were no difference to other guests. Since you are the oldest/ leader and treasurer of your group, you got all the questions required at registration. Especially all of you are teenagers. Our priorities for safety and fire regulations to consider.Hope these explained the misunderstanding.

The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi and service in the property were great, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was up-to-date and clean.
I mistakenly locked my key inside my luggage and I called the owner at 10 PM and she came to my rescue. Not only did she help me open my lock, she provided me with a brand-new lock and two sets of keys to take with me back.
The hospitality was unparalleled. The breakfast was great and everyone who worked there along with the owners was courteous, kind, and wonderful. 11/10, will definitely come here again in my next stay in Scotland!

Very efficient and accommodating hostess. Comfortable room in a cozy style row house… pretty neighborhood and felt safe. Very convenient to public transportation.

Room is spacious and clean. Host is very friendly and helpful.Breakfast is included. I slept very well. No complaint. The property is very close to the Haymarket train station. So the location is very convenient if you arrive and leave Edinburgh by train.

Grosvenor Gardens Hotel is a true 'gem' in the area, walkable from the city center in a super quiet area with comfortable, well-equipped/clean rooms and a super service from the team. Mrs Chan and her staff have been very accomodating, super service-oriented and pleasant. Breakfast service was very nice! I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a good, affordable hotel while visiting Edinburgh.

This is rated a four star hotel. It simply isn’t. More like crashing at your friend’s undesirable house. WiFi is not usable. My TV didn’t work. Breakfast is included but they literally give you one egg. Stay somewhere else

Hi David,Thank you for your invaluable feedback.Actually our establishment is 4 stars guesthouse.You were very lucky to have given a double bed room instead of single bed room which you booked and paid for.In UK , all electrical equipments need to be switch on besides plug on for them to work. UK safety standard.You had full breakfast including 1egg every morning. But you could have requested more eggs to your satisfaction. As for the WIFI, unfortunately we wasn't aware of it. Most likely using the wrong p/w for the different access point.We wish you all the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this quaint Georgian Style guest house. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet just 1 block from the Tram and bus lines. Our guest room with 2 queen beds had everything we needed and was close to tbe dining room. We all enjoyed the full English Breakfast served daily. Wifi worked ok !
