what could be better than a two night stay in a 50,000 sq. ft century-old manor house. This place was fantastic. Libraries, music rooms, sitting rooms and a great bar for signature cocktails. The grounds were well maintained, the food was good and the people in charge were very helpful, particularly Lynn, who answered all of my questions. It was the perfect end to a perfect vacation in Scotland. My daughters fell in love with this place.

This is a phenomenal property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back in the future. The property / Suite was amazing and spacious. The grounds are well kept. The breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this as it was an overall excellent experience.

We were so excited to visit Carberry. Then we ended up in hospital for a medical emergency. After leaving hospital we looked forward to a restful stay at the Carberry, afternnon tea, exploring the library and relaxing in the music room.
We hadn't eaten all day but the bar kitchen had closed early. The staff were so helpful trying to grt us takeout but the wait was long so we went to bed.
When we checkef in, I asked to reserve tea for the next day and was told no, there was an all day princess event for 120 little girls qnd boys plus families.l This was the first time we had heard of this event.
The next say the music room, library common areas were closed to guests during this event. The bar (no Wifi) and restaurants were open at set hours. My husband ended up staying in our room. I watched the woman at reception take bar orders,
I sat in a small area near the garden trying to
make arrqngements to return home due to his illness.
I did communicate our concerns and was told it they often have events and we could have gone to the bar or outside to the grounds (it was too cold to sit outside.)
I hope by sharing this feedback that Carberry will let guests know in advance if there are events that will restrict amemities and services and offer discounted rates during these times.
Thank you.

A very pleasant stay. Thd breakfast was a little disappointing... morning 1- no haggis for the Scottish breakfast, and both mornings the sausages were of poor quality... looked like cheap supermarket rather than quality butchers.

Gorgeous and unique property. Everything was beautiful and the staff was lovely. The rooms themselves are a little dated but this is an historic property and a must-see estate. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Carberry has one of the most beautiful surrounding gardens and forest imaginable. Nestled around the castle makes every angle awe-inspiring. I will say though that the bedrooms need some work. The bed was not very comfortable being small and stiff, and there was not nearly enough blankets provided. IF they changed the beds out for more comfortable ones, added more blankets and made the windows more easy to view the back courtyard, then this would be an all star hotel.
