We have stayed at Braid Hills Hotel on several occasions as it is conveniently located for visiting family members who live a 10 minute walk away in Morningside. The free parking is an import factor in our selection of this hotel. We also like the fact that should we wish to go into the city centre there is a frequent bus service right outside the hotel.
The hotel is a little dated and would benefit from some refurbishment, but the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and bathrooms function properly.
Staff are welcoming and helpful and bar and restaurant prices are reasonable.

The Hotel is very well presented the staff are dedicated and friendly excellent services good food.
and well positioned just a short distance from Edinburgh
city centre but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful.
we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely not hesitate to book again the next time we visit Edinburgh.

Easy access to and from Edinburgh. Breakfast good. Breakfast staff attentive. Bedroom was a little tired looking.

Hotel is quite neat. However it is really tired and dated and hard to keep clean. It was convenient to take the bus into town but for the price point I would of expected a little more cleanliness and upgrading.
