The hotel has been restored to perfection and we loved feeling like Scotland's rich history and culture had been honored throughout the entire hotel. The food, drinks, staff and atmosphere really make this hotel such a special place to stay. Highly recommend if you enjoy top-notch customer service, luxury and would enjoy a a direct view of Edinburgh Castle. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful hotel. It is beautiful on a wonderful street. My room was lovely. Comfy bed, fantastic bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub and a rainfall shower. The best part is the staff. Very attentive and kind. Delicious room service -- I love room service and it's becoming more and more rare. It's an historic building but everything is redone and in good working order. BTW, Edinburgh, in general is full of kind, lovely people. It's a beautiful, historic city -- Highly recommend this city and this hotel.
