"Horrible experience. Booked room thru Hotels.com and got confirmation of the booking. Went to check in front desk clerk said we can’t stay because we live within 30 miles. Lol. We are having some work done on our home so needed to stay. Clerk claims they have a policy they only book rooms to people out of town and cater to out of town workers. How ridiculous is this? You won’t cater to your local town or anyone within 30 miles? Why would Menomonie accept such a business in our community? Then...

"We atayed here for three nights and everything was great. The cabin was clean and large for two bedrooms. It had a lot of plates, pots, pans, a charcoal grill, a propane grill and a firepit. The internet was decent (able to watch netflix on TV without issues and had wifi for the phone), although we spent more time around the firepit. The location is admittedly remote, which is part of the point of booking a cabin or campsite in this area. There are a couple of restaurants, a grocery store, etc...
