"Don’t go expecting a resort and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The Guna that run the island are all warm, friendly, helpful. Great snorkelling tours and beautiful clean water. The accommodations are very simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom that was kept very clean. A great place to get away from it all. The ride through the mountain was very potholy and winding so if you get carsick definitely come prepared."

"A very nice place for Panamanian standards. It’s obvious they are in the process of fixing things up but some things still need a little work. The room and beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and welcome beverage were outstanding. There is a small lagun to swim and snorkel in. Saw lots of small fish but the waves and break made it impossible to go very far. "The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The pool and deck are great to relax in and watch the waves. The restaurant food was good (need hour notice for dinner). The rooms are really rustic and ours did not have AC. Also, note that there is not a public beach on Isla Grande. We spent all day at Coconuts on the other side of island at their beach and would probably stay there if we went again. We were traveling with 2 teens. "

"Our stay at Cabanas Narasgandub was everything you would expect from a remote and rustic location. You will rise when the rooster crows at the crack of dawn and likely be sleepy shortly after the sun goes down. The cabins are extremely rustic and this location is not for someone expecting a 5 star resort. It's basically camping in the most beautiful scenery. "Communication was good and highly organized. We felt safe and didn’t need to lock up our bags or valuables at all times. "29/22 i stay with my family for three nights and 4 days the beds are not comfortable and the fan doesn't work the bathroom need cleaning, the worst part is the sandflyies we got bitten all over our bodies, the owners can do better with proper new nets and fan and maybe spray the place, after the first night we want to leave so bad.
