"Well located hotel within a few blocks from the Bologna train station and the Pinacoteca Nazionale. The room was spacious with modern features and squeaky clean. Staff was very courteous and customer centric. The double windows are not fully soundproof so expect some street noise during your stay. Overall, a great bang (pun intended) for your buck!"

"Phi hotel is right in the heart of the old town, within a few minutes walk to the main square. We stayed at an annexed apartment that's really spacious, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms. The is parking for an additional fee, it's very tight and I had to be very careful to get in and out. However, a hotel staff was there to provide guidance which was a big help. We didn't need the car while we stayed at the hotel, and walked everywhere since it's so close to the old town center. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Bologna."

"This was a surprise stay! Certainly a little older lodging, but very charming and located superbly— 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to the historic downtown of Bologna. I was greeted by the friendliest hotel staffer I’ve ever met. Franco was a delight! He was helpful, hospitable, lovely disposition, and very generous with his time and attention. The hotel has all the reasons one would want to return, but Franco certainly seals the deal! "

"We love that it's right across from the train station. Our room was bigger than i expected and very clean. The bed was great. It's about a 25-minute walk to the center of town though. "

The location is perfect - right in the historical centre and literally seconds away from great bars and restaurants and all the main sights in Bologna centre.
