We loved the hotel, rught on the sea-front, lovely touches like free biscuits and sweeties in reception, to lovely fluffy towels and a pack of haribos in the room.
We were also given a complimentary breakfast pack.
Qould definitely stay again

I loved my stay. The staff was warm and friendly. Everything in room was adequate and clean. We had nice shower too. The extras - candy in lobby / gracious friendly helpful staff, location on beach, and close to shops and food options and Eastbourne pier, , a great game / sitting room to have a drink in and a pool table. An old lift with character
We had a marvelous 2 nights here.

Thank you for your review Thai's - we understand that you had an issue with your bathroom which was rectified at your request immediately and no further issues were mentioned so it is disappointing of course to us and we are sorry you felt we were only worth a 1 out of 5, which is not our normal level of service.

Great staff, great location, complementary breakfast included ( croissants jam, yogurts and juice) but property needs refurbishment. It was a very good price though.
Room we stayed was redone in 2021 but that means painted over the old wallpaper and walls, yellow stains coming already through the paint. Twin no sea view room had poorly fitted bathroom linoleum, uneven floor with mouldy creased shower curtain that kept letting water through onto the bathroom floor. Shower head kept collapsing. Shame it wasn’t fully upgraded.

Thank you for your review and we are glad you liked our snack bags and us. It is always a mystery to us that people can see we are in the middle of refurbishing and then comment on needing refurbishment but as you say we reflect our older rooms in the price (as you have already mentioned)
