The pool had what I can only call a “skim layer” on it. From desk said it was a busy weekend and lots of kids not showering before entering causes it. We had a 12 checkout but as we were changing in our room at 10:45 housekeeping unlocked the door without knocking and came in. We called out and they excused them selfs and back out. Front desk said, sorry but no explanation on why they just walked in to our room. Not a great stay at all. The attendant at check in was pleasant. The apples at breakfast on our last day were wrapped in plastic wrap. I grab one to take to our room, unwrapped it and it was rotten. Stayed in Syracuse many times, first time at this hotel but left with a very bad experience, didn’t get to go into the pool.

Our room was very spacious and more than enough room for the three of us. The hotel was nice and the breakfasts were great. However, one of the main reasons I chose this location was for the pool. My 4 year old loves to swim so we wanted to swim everyday of our three day stay. Unfortunately the pool was FREEZING. We attempted to swim one day and my daughters teeth started to chatter. When I spoke to the front desk they advised that the pool was 80 degrees, which was clearly false. They was a tarp over the ceiling in the pool which suggested to me that the dehumidification unit was broken, likely the reason the water was cold. When I brought this up with Melissa she brushed me off. I wasn't pleased with her reaction to the situation, basically suggesting I was off my rocker. I let it go but if you are planning on using the pool here make sure to check with them that they have fixed all their issues.

We only stayed for one night to attend a wedding nearby and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and the whole property looked wonderful. My husband and I both agreed we would stay there again.
