Room was clean, comfortable, affordable (off season). Staff were friendly.
The down side was the Hotel “extras” starting with the restaurant, which was so beyond unreasonably expensive, and renting umbrellas, and chairs to sit on the beach left a bad taste in my mouth. It just kind of felt like the business model there is “Get them in the door affordability, then crush them with anything they need”. Felt like being on a cruise ship… Ugh.

We had to ask for a different room upon walking into our first room and being hit with a strong musty smell of mold and seeing visible mold on the window and carpet. Our second room was slightly better. The day before we checked out we noticed a 6 ft stretch of visible black mold on an interior wall in the elevator lobby of our building. That same day a maintenance man was walking around doing paint “touch ups” and ended up painting over the entire wall to cover up the mold. We were horrified. Mold is a serious help threat and this is not an appropriate way to mitigate mold and is a bandaid at best- dangerous and deceitful to other guests. Can’t recommend this hotel and would tell others to beware.

Loved the place however you could see many people walking around that were obviously not guests. The hallways could be cleaner.
