"We booked last minute as we decided to stay in Dublin the night before our flight. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was average, but did have a small kitchen area which would be helpful for eating in to save some money on food. The location we stayed was close to the train, so one room was a bit louder than the other. We were also staying on a Friday night, so there were some people coming in after the bars closed. "I was only in Dublin for a very brief stay, and chose the Jacobs Inn because of its proximity to public transport and multiple options for dead-of-night airport rides. I didn’t get the chance to really interact or hang out with anyone because I was only in Dublin for ~34 hours (half of which being sleep), but the location seemed to draw a great mix of folks from all over.
