Good location a couple of minutes from the Underground. Couldn't fault the staff they were professional helpful and polite especially the maintenance man and all the breakfast staff. Breakfast was fine but there were no tea facilities, only one pot supplying strong stewed tea, no herbal tea. I had to ask specifically for this which was fine but the staff were already busy. The room could have done with improvement. The bathroom sink did not empty very well so needs checking. The toilet did not flush properly. I was going to contact reception and change room but then the toilet did flush but was temperamental and sometimes didn't flush properly which wasn't pleasant. The room was lovely and big so it's a mystery why the bed is so small. The mattress was cheap and obviously old as there was a dip in the middle. It wasn't a comfy night's sleep. I was surprised as we have stayed at Crowne Plaza in Chester and there was no problem with the room and as a hotel chain I would expect the same high standard. Overall the staff were very hardworking but the rooms need upgrading.

The bar staff was very kind and welcoming. The front desk at arrival was not most considerate. Had to change rooms 2 times before getting what i adked for the first time. I felt as if the receptionist was not trying to accommodate my requests. The trainee was kind the next day.
