Pleasant stay
Posted 4 May 2018 on HotelsThe accommodation was clean and comfortable. Samson the caretaker was very efficient and helpful. He also provided an excellent breakfast. I would recommend staying here if you are in transit, however if wanting to tour the area there are probably more picturesque places that would enable you to walk from your accommodation.

Thank you Alan for your lovely response. I am really proud of my manager and staff who are all local people who have been trained in hosting and hospitality. One of the charms of our village is that it is very safe to walk around, and restaurants and bars are all close by just a short walk away. For exploring the area for hiking trails, flyfishing, birding, horse riding, etc one does have to jump in one's car to get to the various destinations. If people are looking for a country rural experience I will always recommend some of my colleagues and friends in the area who have accommodation out of town.

Fabulous Accommodation at ALC in Machadodorp
Posted 10 May 2017 on HotelsAbsolute Leisure Cottages was a fantastic place to stay. On the day of arrival I was sent a What's App with directions to ALC. When we got there the manager lit a fire in a wood-burning fire in our bedroom. The accommodation was wonderful, it was clean and very comfortable. A bonus was milk in the fridge, so much better than those creamers! Highly recommended.

bon gite d'étape pour le kruger

Notre hôte nous a conseillé un restaurant et nous en avons été très satisfaits.
Le cottage est très spacieux, pouvant contenir deux familles.
Il est original avec ses toitures chaumes apparentes visibles a l'intérieur du cottage et la chambre en hauteur.
Bonne etape a recommander.
