Nice Bed and Breakfast hotel. We stay here every year for our family get together in Alta. It’s quiet, rustic and I always enjoy the breakfast. The staff are pleasant and the place is clean. The price is reasonable.

neat property to stay at. it was a sunday night so it wasnt very busy. we had a shared bathroom but didnt see anyone else nearby. the balcony was nice to sit on and the absence of a tv made it easier to sit and enjoy the quiet. beautiful sunset views and nothing but crickets when none of the AC units are running.

The room was just what we needed for a good night's sleep. We had access to the kitchen to make our breakfast and it was very quiet.

We stayed in the sunset room. It’s a quaint room with a balcony. My favorite part of the room is the balcony.

A treasure!
Posted 23 Aug 2024 on HotelsWhat a perfectly charming and comfortable historical gem! Very clean and comfortable with all the necessary comforts while keeping the nostalgia of it's younger years. Loved the common kitchen area and the homemade breakfast was a great surprise. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The Expedia listing is not correct. No pool onsite!! There is a community pool over a mile away and the hours are limited. Also, there is ONE shared bathroom between multiple rooms. Not ideal for a romatic getaway. No TV's available. Limited WiFi, no streaming. No refrigerators or microwaves in room. Bed was very comfortables but the pillows were not. Breakfast is very limited for those with sensitivities to gluten. Guests are expected to wash their dishes and put away on the weekdays. Property in the back needs to be maintained. Bottles and cups left on site, in the back yard area. The exterior restrooms were not clean. This hotel is overpriced for what is offered. I recommend staying in Colfax and visit Dutch Flat as a side trip.
