Very charming and historic hotel. Loved the room amenties, from full kitchen to washer/dryer. Staff very accomodating.

Please do not book this hotel via Expedia. They will not put you in the actual hotel, which is upstairs they most likely put you in the basement beside the gym . Very disappointed and sad that they tweeted us just because we blocked with Expedia.

Dear Nariman. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your ground floor room with a large terrace. We do not have rooms in the basement, but the reception is in the first floor, therefore you needed to take the elevator downwards. Greetings to your wife, she mentioned at the front desk that she liked the room much. If you come next time you will get a room at a higher floor.

The hotel is quite good for anyone looking for both self catering and in room service. Hotel is clean despite language barrier the staff are quite friendly and very helpful.
Will definitely be staying there again

A fantastic hotel. The location is perfect - close to the Altstadt, yet sheltered from the hustle and bustle as soon as you step inside. A true oasis.

The rooms were beautiful as was the whole hotel. Very serene and beautiful, great breakfast. Stafff was very attentive and helped me with several things. Would love to stay again
