Old country pub. Facilities poor. Unfortunately the noise of a live singer and pub patrons until very late kept my wife awake.
Good breakfast and staff were pleasant.

Disappointed wih wuality and price
Posted 1 Jul 2024 on HotelsArranged to pay on arrival which was more expensive to book since i booked a room for a colleague and we wanted to pay for own rooms, the hotel took payment prior to arrival and it has been a nightmare getting this straight. This is 6 rooms above a pub not a hotel, strict checkout at 11am and must leave premises at that time no reception or front desk. The room was dated, had no desk and the shower had several steps to enter which are dangerous when the floor is wet. We were charged £160 per room which i would say is £100 too much. The fact they take payment before you've seen the room indicates they know they are overcharging for what is on offer.

Good location needs some modernising
Posted 26 May 2024 on HotelsGood location to setoff from - rooms at the top of VERY steep stairs - not recomnended for anyone with disability - very tired Pub b&b - room needs modernising - taps dripping all night - Staff very friendly and good food
