The building has classic charm and history, and is in a quiet setting. The rooms are badly in need of professional renovation and improvement, and the housekeeping needs to be stepped up. Felt like we were visiting a rather rustic summer cabin. Friendly staff.

Clean fresh bedding and towels
Tired shabby unclean looking room especially the carpet
Very noisy from surrounding rooms and above
Bathroom needs a refurb its probably cleaned but looked unkept and dirty with exposed wiring scary in a wet room
Beer garden , dirty tables , thrown out furniture
Food wasn’t good
First member of staff completely ignored us at check in however the one that appeared later and the couple who run it seemed really nice
Hugely overpriced

Unfortunately the room we had was very dated and rundown with a big damp patch on the bathroom floor, rusty raditors and worn furniture. Cleanliness was poor with dust and grime on tbe bathroom floor and someones old receipts in the drawer. However the bed linen was clean, the bed was a king and comfy. There is little soundproofing so when the room above us came back about 1.30am, the creaking floorboards above was very loud and you could hear voices pretty clearly. I know it was a cheap room so if you just wanted a bed for the night, it might be fine.

We spend one night in the The Longforgan Coaching Inn on our way to Edinburgh airport.
The inn is easy to find and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The accommodation itself is very old and is in the dire need of repair / refurbishing. The bedsheets were almost worn out, but clean.
The inn offers good choice of breakfasts, and they serve dinner and beers in the afternoon.
