Well done renovation of a heritage property. Having 2 double beds can 2 twin beds was nice. Lobby was inviting. Good value.

The hotel staff were competant and friendly, rooms impeccably clean and with quirky design flurishes. Breakfast was delicious and made to our requests. A perfectly lovely stay - will be back

The property is in an old part of town however it is out of the low emissions zone.
Yet minutes from city centre.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, really convenient having a marks and Spencers opposite as well. Quiet room.
Few things to note:
The beds are comfy but the undersheets are super hot so be warned it gets really warm at night
The glass for the shower is so clean it looks like you can walk through it. Whilst a stool is placed in front of it I think it makes more sense to put a sticker on it like other parts of the room advertising the breakfast as I and I am sure others still nearly Walked into it
Nice clean room but it was dusty only noticed at night when my allergies played up and then started to notice dust everywhere
Overall a lovely hotel with nice staff but just wanted to make you aware of the slight faults.

Lovely and friendly staff. Nice smell as you entered the building. Great bar & restaurant. Great breakfast. Very comfy bed with good aircon and nice size room and bathroom. Unfortunately was woken at 4am with the sound of cages being moved at the front of the property and again around 6am but maybe we wouldn’t have heard it if the windows were closed. Also droning noise constant throughout the night but didn’t know what was causing it.
